Driving The Slow(er) EV Charging Movement
Our EV charger power optimisation algorithms move charger peak loads around to minimise costs to vehicle drivers, charger operators and electricity distribution businesses. This works best when charging doesn’t need to be as fast as possible–such as when you can leave your car charging overnight.
Of course, if you need your car ready quicker, our software will do that too. optiCharge automatically plans how much electricity needs to be delivered to each vehicle over the required time period so vehicles are charged on time to desired battery level % and if that isn’t possible, optiCharge will inform the charger user what battery level % or charge time they can reliably achieve with the available site power availability.
